Flowers play a significant role in our lives, symbolizing cycles, nature, and cultural values. In Israel, protected flowers represent both landscape preservation and a deep connection to the land. However, in 2025, these values are increasingly challenged and disrupted.
In this ceramic work, the tension between materials creates a transformative structural shift—sheets of clay struggle to find balance, resulting in a three-dimensional form. As creators, we explore and define these points of tension and movement. The ceramics capture this process, with each piece representing a frozen flower— a tangible memory of a rapidly changing reality.
